• Clipping Removal: Smaller lawns, generally less than 10,000 square feet, and highly visible lawn areas will be mowed with a 21” bagging mower and all grass clipping will be removed from your property. All organic debris removed from garden will be recycled in our GreenWaste recycling program to produce compost. Larger lawns, generally more than 10,000 square feet, or less highly visible lawn areas will be mowed with larger mulching mowers which prepare the grass clippings so they will recycle back into your lawn’s ecosystem. • Lawn Health Care: An integrated pest management (IPM) program will be established for your lawn, which will involve soil testing, fertilization, weed, and pest control. An application of either lime or sulfur will be used to correct your lawn’s pH. • Paved Edges: We will maintain a crisp edge along all walks, curbing and other paved areas. • Debris Removal: All lawn and paved areas will be blown off with a power blower to remove minor debris and grass clippings. Other debris will be removed from your garden as needed. Exclusions: No lawn applications used to control lawn fungus or disease are included in this program. The removal of storm debris is not included in this program. • Any lawn areas to be renovated will be cleared of debris prior to the renovation. We require access to your irrigation controls in order to locate lawn irrigation heads. If your garden has an irrigation system, we will flag the sprinkler heads in the lawn areas to avoid damaging them. Any damaged heads will be repaired. • The lawn will be aerated with a mechanical aerator to a depth of approximately three (3) inches in order to provide access for oxygen and water to penetrate more deeply the root system of your turf.All bare soil areas will be top-dressed with a special lawn soil mix. Seed-Aide fibrous mulch will be used to help accelerate seed germination. • All lawn areas will be over-seeded at a rate of 3lbs. per 1000 sq. ft with the appropriate seed mix. • An appropriate fertilizer will be applied to your lawn to ensure recovery. |
