Jody has been designing, installing and maintaining distinctive residential landscapes in Maryland since 1991. While continuing his education at the University of Maryland in Landscape Management, Jody continued to grow and operate his own successful landscape company until joining Garden Gate Landscaping, Inc. in 2001.

Jody’s experience in designing and installing hard elements of a garden, as well as his knowledge of plant materials, allows him to create unique outdoor environments ranging from small flower beds to multi-faceted projects. Jody helps his clients to develop goals and budgets for their property and then using his dedication to customer service, helps their dreams become a reality. Jody’s work has been recognized with multiple awards from The Landscape Contractors Association of MD, DC and VA as well as the national association, PLANET, formerly Associated Landscape Contractors of America. Jody has lectured to local garden clubs, helping garden enthusiasts learn about new materials and ideas.

He is constantly educating himself on new materials and techniques to help create new and distinctive gardens that are low maintenance and create year round interest. As a native of Maryland, Jody understands the indigenous problems and provides solutions that are appropriate for this region. With his dedication to his client’s happiness, Jody creates extensions of homes that are enjoyed for a lifetime.
